Laos

ARC Developments is currently mandated to advise an Australian client on working with Electricity du Laos (EDL) for investment in new generation capacity development in Laos. Recently ARC Developments has structured a proposed transaction which would see the client secure an equity position in a hydro power plant as part of their long term electricity supply for their Laos operations. As part of these actyivities ARC Developments was involved in the introduction of the client to the project sponsor, a major Chinese EPC and equipment supplier.
