Paul is a cofounder of ARC Developments International and is
a highly-skilled business developer with nearly two decades in
the energy sector.
After eight years in the UK civil service, Paul joined the National
Power PLC of the UK following the privatisation of the UK electricity
sector in 1991, responsible for the commercial aspects of engineering
procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for new coal, gas,
cogeneration and renewable projects.
In the mid-1990s, Paul relocated to Beijing with National Power
International, negotiating EPC, fuel supply and power purchase
contracts on major project initiatives in the fast-developing
Chinese market.
As a founder of Innogy’s business development group in
1999, he helped establish the entity and saw it flourish to become
an in-demand third-party service business. Paul held sole responsibility
for successfully developing Innogy’s Asian markets, and
opened its regional office in Kuala Lumpur in 2002.
Based in Malaysia, Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree from
the UK’s Open University.
